Alternative & Augmentative
Communication

What is Alternative & Augmentative Communication? Who uses it? How can therapists better understand it? What Assistive Communication Devices are available for use?

In a world where we individually speak around 16,000 words a day, the communication styles of individuals is something not often considered by those who speak as their primary form of communication. This website aims too improve understanding of these questions and improve access for all. Feel free to join in our online Forums, and if you have suggestions on more resources, please contact us.
